Jennifer and Jerry Cline
Sushi and Poké was something we ate regularly on the West Coast but couldn’t find the same quality fish anywhere in Nashville. Jennifer’s cousin joked that he could have it shipped over if we ordered 80 lbs of fish. We gathered our friends together, ordered the fresh fish, and then decided to start the company after that weekend when Jenn was furloughed from her Meetings and Events job. Little did we know the word would spread on social media, and we have been shipping fish to Tennessee weekly since June. We are so thankful to our friends and first customers who have been with us from the start.
Aloha Fish Co. brought in its first air shipment of fresh Hawaiian seafood flown directly from Oahu in June of 2020. The weekly orders have increased in popularity since that first shipment of seafood from Hawaii touched down in Nashville.

We love fresh fish from Hawaii
Of course, we love fresh fish and seafood because it is delicious and easy to prepare…but also because it is among the healthiest foods on the planet. Our seafood comes from the Pacific Ocean, NE and NW where the water temperatures are colder and you can see, taste the difference. Fish is a healthy, high-protein food, loaded with important nutrients, such as vitamins D and B2, and especially important are the essential fats (omega-3 fatty acids), which our bodies don’t produce on their own and play an essential role in brain and heart health. Omega-3s are important for prenatal development in babies, too.
Preparing fresh fish is easy! Most fish and seafood can be eaten raw or cooked within no more than 5-7 minutes.
We only support responsible fisheries and sustainable seafood companies.
